- In a Dutch oven, brown steak cubes well in margarine.
- Add pepper and garlic salt while browning.
- Add wine, mushrooms with juice and water to cover meat.
- Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Add cream cheese and melt.
- Do not boil cream cheese. Serve over rice.
