Ingredients

  • 2 round steaks, cut in cubes
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • garlic salt
  • pepper
  • 2 c. wine
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. In a Dutch oven, brown steak cubes well in margarine.
  2. Add pepper and garlic salt while browning.
  3. Add wine, mushrooms with juice and water to cover meat.
  4. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  5. Add cream cheese and melt.
  6. Do not boil cream cheese. Serve over rice.
