Steak Calzone

A savory steak calzone filled with ricotta, Provolone, mushrooms, and tender steak, perfect for a hearty meal. Crispy crust and flavorful stuffing make it a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 16 oz. breakfast steak
  • 4 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 3/4 cup shredded Provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Roll dough into a 12-inch circle.
  2. Fry the breakfast steak with diced onion until cooked, then drain.
  3. On half of the dough circle, spread ricotta cheese with a dash of black pepper.
  4. Place the cooked steak on top of the ricotta.
  5. Add drained mushrooms over the steak.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Provolone cheese over the mushrooms.
  7. Fold the other half of the dough over to form a half-moon shape, sealing the edges firmly.
  8. Sprinkle flour on top of the calzone.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
