Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage
  • 3 strips bacon
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash and shred the cabbage.
  2. Dice the green pepper.
  3. Cook the bacon in a medium-sized frypan until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage, diced green pepper, salt, pepper, sugar, and water to the hot pan.
  5. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve topped with crumbled bacon strips.
