Ingredients

  • 3 medium onions
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Peel onions and cut into quarters.
  2. Put all ingredients into a pot with a lid.
  3. Steam over medium heat until tender.
  4. Serve as a side dish with pinto beans, potatoes, or other vegetables.
