This stir-fry can be easily customized with your favorite ingredients.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this stir-fry rice as a standalone dish, or pair it with a fresh salad like Twisted River Ranch Cabbage Salad for a balanced meal. It also complements grilled chicken recipes or a side of egg rolls. For a more filling option, add some scrambled eggs to the mix just before serving.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply add a splash of water to the pan and heat over medium until warmed through, or use the microwave in short intervals, stirring occasionally. Avoid reheating more than once for best quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use regular rice instead of Minute rice?

Yes, you can use regular rice, but you'll need to adjust the cooking time and water ratio. Typically, regular rice requires about double the water and a longer cooking time, usually around 18-20 minutes, so just keep an eye on it while cooking.

What can I add for extra protein?

Consider adding shrimp or tofu for extra protein. Both work well in stir-fries. If using shrimp, add them when the chicken is heated through, and they will cook quickly. For tofu, cube and sauté it until golden before adding other ingredients.

Is this dish suitable for meal prep?

Absolutely! This stir-fry rice is perfect for meal prep. Make a larger batch and divide it into individual portions for easy lunches or dinners throughout the week. Just remember to store the rice separately from any sauces to prevent sogginess.
