A quick and easy skillet bread with raisins, sweetened with brown sugar and cinnamon-sugar, perfect for a comforting snack or breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups biscuit mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup dry milk
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat and preheat.
  2. Mix biscuit mix, sugar, dry milk, brown sugar, raisins, vegetable oil or melted butter, and water until well combined.
  3. Turn the mixture into an 8-inch ring mold.
  4. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon-sugar.
  5. Cover the skillet and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. After 15 minutes, slightly lift the lid to let steam escape.
