A delightful layered strawberry cake featuring fresh berries, sweet glaze, and fluffy Cool Whip, perfect for celebrations or a refreshing dessert for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 jar strawberry glaze (15 oz.)
  • 1 container Cool Whip (9 oz.)

Instructions

  1. Bake the yellow cake according to the package directions using two 8 or 9-inch round pans.
  2. Remove the cakes from the pans and allow them to cool completely.
  3. Wash, drain, and mix fresh strawberries with the jar of strawberry glaze.
  4. Place one cake layer in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the strawberry glaze and berries mixture on top of the first cake layer.
  6. Place the second cake layer on top of the strawberries.
  7. Spread the remaining strawberry glaze and berries on top of the second layer.
  8. Frost the sides of the cake with Cool Whip, reserving a teaspoon for decoration on top.
  9. Decorate the top of the cake with a strawberry or berry on the reserved Cool Whip.
