Ingredients

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup water; set aside.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 8 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and add gelatin mixture, stirring until gelatin is dissolved.
  5. Cool to room temperature.
  6. Pour strawberry mixture into sterilized glass jars; cover tightly.
  7. Refrigerate at least 4 to 6 hours or until mixture is thoroughly chilled.
