Strawberry Stack Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake
  • 2 large containers Cool Whip
  • 3 large (12 oz.) packages frozen strawberries, thawed

Instructions

  1. Put 3 tablespoons of strawberries in the bottom of a large, deep glass bowl.
  2. Cut some of the pound cake and crumble it over the strawberries.
  3. Cover the crumbled cake with strawberries and their juice.
  4. Drizzle the strawberry juice around the edges of the bowl so it shows through the glass.
  5. Add a layer of Cool Whip over the strawberries.
  6. Add another layer of crumbled cake, strawberries, and Cool Whip.
  7. Finish with a layer of Cool Whip on top of the bowl.
  8. Refrigerate overnight for best results.
  9. The dessert also freezes well.
