String Bean And Meatball Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. cooked string beans
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 4 or 5 cooked potatoes
  • 1 can tomato puree
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bite size pieces cooked chicken (optional instead of hamburger)

Instructions

  1. Season hamburger to taste.
  2. Make bite size meatballs and cook fully in microwave oven.
  3. Cook fully the string beans and potatoes.
  4. In a large stew pot, pour in can of puree and 3/4 can of water.
  5. Season sauce to taste and add sugar.
  6. Add meatballs, string beans and bite size pieces of potatoes.
  7. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve with Italian bread.
