Stuffed Soft Crab

Ingredients
- 12 medium Maryland soft crabs, cleaned
- 1 lb Maryland backfin crabmeat ⓘ
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
Instructions
- Dry soft crabs with paper towels.
- Remove all cartilage from crabmeat.
- Place soft crabs in a shallow baking pan.
- Remove top shell from each crab and stuff each cavity with about 3 tablespoons of crabmeat.
- Replace the top shell onto each crab.
- Melt butter and pour evenly over the stuffed crabs.
- Bake at 400°F until shells turn red and crabs brown slightly, about 15 minutes.
