Ingredients

  • 5 lb potatoes
  • 1 1/2 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1 qt milk
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 1/4 lb butter

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube potatoes into bite-sized pieces and boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and transfer them to a large crock-pot.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the flour to the melted butter and stir well.
  5. Gradually add the milk and 1 teaspoon of salt, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  6. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes in the crock-pot.
  8. Cook on low setting for 3 to 4 hours without stirring.
