Ingredients

  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cans whole green beans
  • bacon bits (real)

Instructions

  1. Drain the green beans and place them in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Melt the margarine and mix it with the brown sugar.
  3. Pour the margarine and brown sugar mixture over the green beans.
  4. Sprinkle bacon bits on top of the beans.
  5. Cover the casserole dish and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes at 375°F.
