Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 3 c. walnut halves
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, honey, and cold water in a pan and cook until it reaches soft ball stage (238 degrees).
  2. Remove from heat and add the walnuts and vanilla.
  3. Stir until the syrup becomes creamy and thick.
  4. Turn onto waxed paper to harden.
  5. Once hardened, break into pieces.
