Ingredients

  • 6 medium Delicious apples
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice (unsweetened)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut up the apples; add the unsweetened apple juice.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
  3. Dissolve the cornstarch in a small amount of water.
  4. Stir the dissolved cornstarch into the apple mixture and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes until the apples are tender.
  6. Stir in the cinnamon.
  7. Dot the margarine over the top of the filling.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes, until the crust is brown and the filling is bubbly.
