Instructions
- Combine salt, vinegar, water, pickling spice, and alum.
- Set aside.
- Put cucumber in 1 gallon jar, combining/alternating dill, garlic, and leaves, pack tight.
- Pour liquid into jar.
- Put in warm place for two weeks.
- Refrigerate after opening.
