Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/3 c. pine nuts or slivered almonds
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 c. cooked rice, cooked in chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add green onions, nuts and garlic; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until nuts are lightly browned.
  3. Add rice, salt, pepper and thyme; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until ingredients are blended.
  4. Serve with kebabs. Makes 6 servings.
