Summer Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano (powdered)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 dashes hot pepper sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 30 oz. tomato sauce
  • 6 oz. tomato paste
  • 2 c. fresh tomatoes, diced

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat, then drain well.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
  3. Stir often.
  4. Serve with your choice of pasta or steamed vegetables.
  5. Serves 8.
