Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream shortening and sugar.
- Blend in eggs and molasses.
- Sift together flour and all spices.
- Add flour and buttermilk alternately to first mixture.
- Blend well, but do not beat.
- Spoon batter into well greased
- muffin pans.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
- Makes 12.
