Sunflower Rye Bread
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water (70 to 80) ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons instant nonfat dry milk powder ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons honey ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons molasses ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons shortening ⓘ
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt ⓘ
- 1/3 cup unsalted sunflower seeds ⓘ
- 2 cups bread flour ⓘ
- 1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour ⓘ
- 1 cup rye flour ⓘ
- 1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast ⓘ
Instructions
- In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select wheat bread setting.
- Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water of flour if needed).
