  • unsalted butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. First, cut each slice of white bread without salt into 4 pieces.
  2. In a skillet, fry the bread pieces in unsalted butter until they turn pinkish.
  3. In another skillet, heat water and sugar together.
  4. Bring the water and sugar mixture to a boil and cook until it becomes a thick syrup.
  5. Add the fried bread pieces into the syrup.
  6. Let the bread soak in the syrup for 2 hours.
  7. Serve and enjoy this sweet, juicy bread.
