Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 thick pork chops
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the chops on both sides in a skillet.
  2. Season the chops with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Combine orange juice, brown sugar, orange marmalade, and vinegar; stir until well mixed.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chops in the skillet; cover and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes or until the chops are cooked through.
  6. Remove the chops from the skillet and keep warm.
  7. Increase the heat and boil the remaining sauce until thickened.
  8. Pour the thickened sauce over the chops before serving.
