Sweet Potatoes Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 c. butter/margarine, melted
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/3 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/3 c. miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes and enough water to cover in a large pan; cover and cook for 25 to 35 minutes or just tender.
  2. Drain; cool slightly and peel.
  3. In large bowl, mash potatoes; stir in butter, sugar and raisins.
  4. Place in a 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with nuts and marshmallows.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until heated through.
