Ingredients

  • 1 quart dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup tarragon flavored vinegar
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice the dill pickles.
  2. Heat the tarragon flavored vinegar and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the heated mixture into a jar over the pickles.
  4. If the sugar settles at the bottom of the jar, set the jar in a pan of hot water and swish to stir the sugar into the mixture.
  5. Turn the jar upside down and let it set for at least 3 days.
  6. The longer they set, the better the flavor develops.
