Ingredients

  • 4 bunches parsley
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • 4 pieces tomato
  • 1/2 piece yellow onion
  • 1 tsp. green peppermint, chopped or dry mint
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/2 c. cracked wheat (burgul)
  • salt as needed
  • sprinkle of pepper

Instructions

  1. All ingredients can be chopped very fine by hand, except for the parsley.
  2. It could be chopped in a food processor.
  3. Mix all vegetables together.
  4. Just before serving, soak the cracked wheat (burgul) in a little water; add to vegetables and add salt, pepper, peppermint, lemon juice and olive oil.
  5. Mix very well. Ready to eat!
  6. Makes enough for 6 people.
