Ingredients

  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. beer
  • 6 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3 to 4 pkg. tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and break it into bits.
  2. Drain off the fat from the beef.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the beef and stir to combine.
  4. Stir in water, beer, and tomato paste.
  5. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
  6. Add grated Cheddar cheese to the beef mixture.
  7. Bake in a 325°F oven for 5 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
