Tarragon Butter

A fragrant herb butter infused with tarragon, dill, and bay leaves, perfect for elevating seafood, chicken, or vegetables with fresh, aromatic flavors.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh tarragon
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh dill weed
  • 1 tsp. powdered bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Chop tarragon finely.
  2. Soften the butter.
  3. Chop dill weed.
  4. Make a powder of crushed bay leaves.
  5. Beat softened butter until creamy.
  6. Blend in remaining ingredients.
  7. Place butter on waxed paper and form into a roll or other shape with a flat bladed knife.
  8. A pastry bag can be used to make more intricate shapes.
  9. Allow butter to rest in refrigerator at least 2 hours so it will completely absorb the flavor of the herbs.
