- Mix the butter or margarine, cream cheese, and flour together until well combined.
- Roll out the dough thin on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into 2 or 3-inch squares or circles.
- Place 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of jam on each piece.
- Fold the squares into triangles or place a top circle with a hole over the jam-filled base.
- Seal the edges securely to enclose the jam.
- Ensure the jam is in the center and the edges are well sealed.
- Place the prepared cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and place on brown paper to absorb excess oil.
