Ingredients

  • 1 lb butter or margarine
  • 12 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups flour
  • raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter or margarine, cream cheese, and flour together until well combined.
  2. Roll out the dough thin on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into 2 or 3-inch squares or circles.
  4. Place 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of jam on each piece.
  5. Fold the squares into triangles or place a top circle with a hole over the jam-filled base.
  6. Seal the edges securely to enclose the jam.
  7. Ensure the jam is in the center and the edges are well sealed.
  8. Place the prepared cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
  10. Remove from oven and place on brown paper to absorb excess oil.
