Ingredients

  • 4 lb. beef roast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 to 3 bay leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Instructions

  1. Rub salt into roast. Place in a large pan. Add dry mustard, cinnamon, nutmeg, onions, garlic, bay leaves and oil. Cover and cook slowly for 2 to 3 hours or until tender.
