Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 5 large taters
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut taters into medium wedges and place in a large pot.
  2. Crumble ground beef into the pot with the taters.
  3. Add chopped onion, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
  4. Pour in 6 cups of water.
  5. Cook over medium heat for around 2 hours or until well cooked.
  6. Serve hot, preferably with cornbread.
