Tex-Mex Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 8 3/4 oz. can cream-style corn
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar
  • 1 pkg. Mexican corn bread mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Grease 8-inch skillet and place in oven to heat.
  3. Beat egg in mixing bowl.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, beating well.
  5. Pour batter into prepared skillet.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. This corn bread is very moist. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
