Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Sift dry ingredients: flour, salt, and sugar.
  3. Pour yeast mixture and melted butter into the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until smooth.
  5. Roll out on a floured board.
  6. Cut out biscuits with a cutter.
  7. Place on a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12 minutes.
