A simple, comforting baked squash dish featuring tender frozen squash topped with butter and seasoned with salt and minced onion, perfect as a side for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen squash
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Empty the frozen squash into an ungreased casserole dish.
  3. Cut 2 tablespoons of butter into pieces and dot the top of the squash with the pieces.
  4. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  5. Cover the casserole dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and stir in 2 tablespoons minced onion.
  8. Cover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
