Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 1 large container sour cream
  • 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese sliced
  • 1 (4 oz.) can jalapenos

Instructions

  1. Mix the uncooked rice and sour cream together in a bowl.
  2. In a buttered casserole dish, spread a layer of the rice mixture.
  3. Top with a layer of sliced Monterey Jack cheese and dot with butter.
  4. Repeat layering of rice mixture and cheese until all ingredients are used.
  5. Finish with a top layer of grated cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
