Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 lb. ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese
  • 2 jars spaghetti sauce
  • 2 boxes lasagna noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck; drain excess fat.
  2. Add spaghetti sauce to the cooked beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Boil lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain.
  4. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, place a layer of lasagna noodles on the bottom.
  5. Spread a layer of spaghetti sauce over the noodles.
  6. Add a layer of grated mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  7. Layer more noodles over the cheese.
  8. Spread another layer of spaghetti sauce over the noodles.
  9. Add a layer of ricotta cheese on top of the sauce.
  10. Place another layer of noodles over the ricotta.
  11. Spread a layer of spaghetti sauce over the noodles.
  12. Add a layer of cottage cheese on the sauce.
  13. Place another layer of noodles on top.
  14. Repeat layers of noodles, sauce, and cheese until all ingredients are used.
  15. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 1 hour.
