- Cook sugar, butter, and chopped pecans to 300°F with a candy thermometer. Spread on buttered foil, spreading thin.
- Scatter milk chocolate chips on top, allowing them to melt, then spread with a knife.
- Let cool completely.
- Break into pieces. Optionally, sprinkle chopped pecans on top before cooling.
