Ingredients

  • saltine crackers
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 12 oz chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a jelly roll pan with Reynolds Wrap.
  2. Cover the bottom with saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, boil sugar and butter together for exactly 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the hot sugar and butter mixture evenly over the crackers.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes until the toffee is bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot mixture.
  7. Allow the chocolate chips to melt, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the surface.
  8. Refrigerate until set.
  9. Break into pieces before serving.
  10. Keep refrigerated to maintain freshness.
