Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 lb. powdered sugar (more or less)
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pinch soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
  2. Gradually add cinnamon, soda and vanilla; fold in beaten egg whites to which sugar has been slowly added.
  3. For a hearty warm beverage on a cold winter night, set out Tom and Jerry mug.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of batter, 1 jigger of brandy and 1 teaspoon of rum.
  5. Fill with hot water; stir and sip!
