Ingredients

  • 4 large fresh tomatoes
  • 1 can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Cut the tops off the tomatoes and remove the pulp, leaving a shell.
  2. Combine the drained tuna, chopped hard-boiled eggs, chopped celery, chopped nuts, and salad dressing or mayonnaise.
  3. Fill each tomato shell with the mixture.
  4. Chill the stuffed tomatoes before serving.
  5. Garnish with lettuce leaves and carrot sticks if desired.
