Toots' Fish Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 2 c. carrots, diced
  • 1 c. onions, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c. diced potatoes
  • 4 c. filleted, cubed fish (skinless)
  • 1/4 c. oleo

Instructions

  1. Cover the celery, carrots and onions with water; add salt and pepper.
  2. Boil for 7 minutes.
  3. Add diced potatoes; cook 7 minutes. Add fish; cook 3 or 4 minutes (do not overcook).
  4. Add butter and milk; heat.
  5. This is great for camping.
