Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1/2 fresh green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Boil all ingredients together, except tomato paste and tomato sauce, for 20 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste; let simmer for 2 hours.
  3. Serve over buns.
