- Depending on what size dish you will use, buy ingredients accordingly.
- Place lady fingers around dish and cover bottom.
- Sprinkle sherry over them.
- Make Jello and pour over the fingers.
- Add in fruit and let set till hard.
- Make custard.
- Let cold then put over Jello, then spread Cold Whip to cover very gently.
- Sprinkle almonds and cherries on top.
- This is a most popular English dish.
