Ingredients

  • 3 lbs / carrots ... sliced
  • 4 / large sweet potatoes ... sliced like carrots
  • 3 lbs ... briskett or beef flanken (sliced)
  • 16 oz ... honey
  • Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place meat, potatoes and carrots in large roaster; add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Pour honey evenly over entire mixture; add water to approx. one inch over mixture.
  3. Cover pan; bake in pre-heated oven @ 325 for 3-4 hours (until meat is tender & carrots are cooked).
  4. Can add kugel mix, added to a well in the center of the mixture, halfway through roasting process.
  5. Mix well; serve.
