Spicy and creamy tuna-stuffed jalapenos make a flavorful appetizer perfect for parties, combining smoky peppers with a savory tuna and cream cheese filling.

Ingredients

  • 12 medium canned jalapeno peppers
  • 1 can water packed tuna
  • 1 (8 oz.) container lite or no fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Halve, seed, and rinse the canned jalapeno peppers.
  2. Drain the peppers on paper towels.
  3. Drain the tuna and flake it into a bowl.
  4. Mix the tuna with lite or no-fat cream cheese.
  5. Add onion salt and garlic salt to taste.
  6. Stuff the prepared peppers with the tuna and cream cheese mixture.
  7. Serve these spicy but delicious appetizers.
