- Combine the flour, salt, sugar, and the dissolved yeast in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the scalded milk (or powdered milk mixture) and beaten eggs to the dry ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly until a smooth dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased bread pan or on a baking sheet.
- Let the dough rise again until nearly doubled, about 30 to 45 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
