Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 can tomatoes (28 oz.)
  • 1 can red beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. or to taste chili powder
  • 1/2 c. wine (optional)
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Saute turkey, onion and garlic in olive oil.
  2. Add tomatoes, chili powder, cinnamon, ground coriander, salt, wine, beans (undrained) and tomato sauce.
  3. Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
