Turkey/Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • Pastry shell (2)
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey or chicken
  • 3/4 cup cooked mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • bit of peppter

Instructions

  1. 1. saute first 3 ingredients
  2. 2. put turkey into pie shell pastry
  3. 3. combine all other ingredients and spoon over turkey
  4. 4. put top shell on pastry, and squeeze edges. Poke the top of shell with a fork.
  5. 5. cook until crust is golden at 425 celcius. It will take about 20-25 minutes (from fresh). Or once you see gravy bubbling through when done (from frozen).
  6. Let stand from 10-15 minutes to thicken.
