Ingredients

  • canned pear halves (in natural juice)
  • green food coloring
  • pecan halves
  • green seedless grapes
  • whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Pour the canned pear halves and juice into a small bowl.
  2. Add several drops of green food coloring to the pears and juice.
  3. Soak the pears until they turn green.
  4. Lay each pear half on a plate, hollow side down.
  5. Use four pecan halves on each pear to make turtle legs.
  6. Use a green seedless grape for the turtle's head.
  7. Place two cloves on the grape for eyes, then remove the cloves before eating the grape.
