Two Bean Chipotle Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained (garbanzo beans) ⓘ
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained ⓘ
- 1/2 chipotle pepper ⓘ
- 3 garlic cloves ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice ⓘ
- 1 1 tablespoon peanut butter or 1 tablespoon peanut oil ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika ⓘ
- water, as needed ⓘ
Instructions
- Place garlic, chipotle pepper, lemon juice, and tahini in a food processor or mini chopper.
- Pulse until chopped.
- Add in beans and pulse, adding in a little water at a time until it reaches the smoothness you like.
- Stir in pepper and paprika, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
