Instructions
- Melt butter in 9-inch square cake pan.
- Add corn syrup and brown sugar; blend.
- Fill 6 pear halves with walnut meats.
- Place cut side down in pan.
- Pour gingerbread batter over pears.
- Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Serve warm.
